We only give value to things with our attention. And our attention is inseparably linked with thoughts, emotions and energy.

The more attention we pay to something material, the more likely it is to consume us. Because when we achieve our desire the attention is left hanging, and its habit finds ways to focus on the material by offering to make it bigger and better.

So, for example, if our attention stays on material success, that becomes our dominant reality. Attention therefore defines priorities. Regardless of whether we agree or disagree.

Attention + intention = direction of life

Attention and intention are the most powerful tools.

Without intention, attention becomes scattered or reactive, and is pulled into cycles.

With intention, it becomes purposeful and creative.

Attention reflects priorities and also creates your experience of the world. What you attend to determines what becomes "real" for you. So it even defines identity, meaning, and perception of reality.

The highest use of attention is inward, not material

So attention fed to desire multiplies it, while attention turned to awareness itself begins to dissolve it.

It is therefore wise to establish our priorities beforehand, and then engage them with our valuable attention.
